The kind of holiday
Twelve apartments at Poljice
CENTRALA's operator says the building has twelve apartments near Poljice's main gondola and describes restaurant and ski-rental services on the same site. That is a useful, specific proposition if Poljice is your actual lesson or lift base. It does not reveal the bedroom, kitchen, sleeping capacity or parking entitlement of the particular unit you book.
Where you'll stay
One operator, two different Jahorina addresses
The same operator also markets Aparthotel Rajska on the older mountain side. Do not confuse CENTRALA's Poljice bb address, booking, equipment services or wellness access with the Rajska units. The operator's own pages disagree on which building contains wellness facilities.
Put the Poljice starting point at the centre of your stay.
CENTRALA is a particularly location-led apartment option: the operator's website places its twelve units at the Poljice plateau next to the main lift area, while also promoting a restaurant and ski-service business. The reason to shortlist it is a trip organized around a Poljice morning, with food or equipment help nearby and an apartment to return to. The practical questions are unusually important: twelve apartments do not mean one standard layout, the resort's ski paths are seasonal, and the operator presents contradictory wellness information between Centrala and sister Aparthotel Rajska. Ask for the exact unit and where each service physically takes place.

Worth shortlisting for
A skier or small family whose dates and lessons are centered on Poljice, who wants apartment independence but appreciates an on-site restaurant and operator-promoted rental/service counter. Guests able to confirm their exact unit, private cooking facilities, ski equipment arrangements and winter arrival route will get the most from this location.
Compare a different base if
You need guaranteed on-site sauna access, an explicitly verified accessible apartment, spacious multi-bedroom family accommodation or a quiet retreat far from activity at the central Poljice lift area. The operator's photographs and general building services cannot establish any of those room-level conditions. Someone whose lessons start at Ogorjelica should calculate that route before paying extra for a Poljice address.
Both the Centrala contact page and the retained property address identify Poljice bb on Jahorina. The official operator places CENTRALA by the Poljice gondola departure and describes its rental facility. The reviewed Poljice base marker therefore describes a relevant nearby cluster; Ogorjelica is a separate lift area to the south. The ski center lists the two locations separately, and beginners should confirm the precise ski-school meeting point and practical approach from their apartment.

About 0.2 km in a straight line
Poljice: the point of choosing CENTRALA
Centrala's operator directly identifies the Poljice plateau and adjoining lift facilities as its setting. If ski lessons or equipment collection begin here, that can simplify planning. However, the operator's 'ten metres' wording is not a surveyed path: check the entrance, steps, snowbanks, current lift open status and exact lesson assembly point before assuming you can walk there in boots.

About 1.2 km in a straight line
Ogorjelica: test an alternative lesson base
The reviewed Ogorjelica reference is a separate southern lift area. If a school or guide uses it, staying beside Poljice does not remove the need for a transfer or an appropriate on-snow connection. Match start location, skier level and trail opening before assuming all Jahorina lift clusters are interchangeable.
The retained CENTRALA point is compared with pre-reviewed Poljice and Ogorjelica coordinates as straight-line measurements only. Operator claims about metres to lifts are promotional and do not establish entrance-to-lift walking time, a snow-covered ski route, step-free access or beginner suitability.
Two day plans with different starting assumptions.
These are suggested plans to adapt to your dates, ability and weather. Activities and hotel facilities need their own availability check.

A Poljice-oriented ski day
Choose the meeting spot before unpacking skis.
The building's main advantage is meaningful when your equipment, instructor and intended lift are concentrated at Poljice. The operator advertises a rental and service counter and a restaurant; confirm opening arrangements instead of letting their brochure language set your timetable.
Pin down the first lesson or gondola
Ask your instructor which Poljice meeting area is used and check current status from the resort. Verify whether your apartment door-to-assembly route is practical for your group when carrying equipment, including on icy or slushy days.
Check what the operator's ski counter actually provides
The operator says it rents Fischer and Elan equipment and services skis with Wintersteiger machines. Reserve relevant sizes and models directly, ask how long servicing takes and verify storage, deposits and collection hours. Brand mentions are operator claims, not a guaranteed available product.
Decide the meal plan separately from the room
The operator promotes a restaurant and breakfast in the CENTRALA building, yet the online menu includes 'Under Construction' text and XX KM placeholders. Confirm meal inclusions, usable kitchen facilities in your named unit, the current restaurant schedule and any event closures.

A lift-free or summer mountain day
Treat the apartment as a launch point for a chosen trail.
The operator describes walking, mountain biking and panoramic summer activities in the wider resort, but its page is promotional. Pick one realistic outing and verify current trail conditions and seasonal opening rather than assuming the Poljice winter operation remains active.
Plan a walk from a verified start
Choose an established route appropriate to your fitness and weather, identify its actual trailhead, and ask whether the first segment from Poljice requires transport. The property's map location does not show trail signage or climbing difficulty.
Check whether a panoramic ride runs
If the resort offers a lift-assisted panorama or another summer activity, check its current calendar, ticket rules and safety conditions directly; otherwise make the walk or a road-based viewpoint the day's main activity.
Use the apartment only as far as its unit contract allows
An apartment can help with flexible meals after a hike, but do not assume an oven, balcony, dishwasher or washing machine from a general listing. Ask for a full inventory of the exact apartment, and confirm whether restaurant service continues outside the winter peak.
Decisions that matter in a twelve-apartment building.
An apartment count is not a floor plan
The operator advertises twelve CENTRALA apartments, but the homepage does not give a binding bed map for each one. Ask for the unit identifier, bedrooms, bed sizes, sleeping arrangements, cooking appliances, balcony, elevator access and any stairs between the street and door. Do the same for extra cleaning or occupancy charges.
The spa belongs to an unresolved address
The operator's home page explicitly presents a wellness area at Aparthotel Rajska; a separate CENTRALA description invites guests to a 'Centrala wellness area'. These statements conflict. Before building an evening around sauna or massages, request the physical location, availability, guest eligibility, transfer arrangements and prices in a dated confirmation. No on-site CENTRALA spa entitlement is established.
Restaurant advertising contains placeholders
The operator's restaurant page gives an example menu with 'XX KM' placeholders and 'Under Construction' text, plus listed operating hours. These are not reliable prices, current menu items or assured daily hours. Ask what meals are actually served on your dates and whether breakfast or dining is included in the chosen apartment rate.
Ski rental, parking and unloading at Poljice
The official operator pages advertise equipment rental and servicing at Centrala, but give no unit-level parking guarantee. Ask where to unload at busy Poljice, whether parking is reserved or chargeable, and how to collect equipment if arriving after the rental counter closes. Confirm any airport or Sarajevo transfer separately rather than inferring one from the map pin.
Use the confirmed contact, not a template phone
The operator site consistently displays info@centralajahorina.com and +387 65 998 616 in its header/footer; a contact-section phone also reads +387 65 123 456, which looks generic. Request a written reservation confirmation from the main published operator contact and ensure it identifies CENTRALA Poljice rather than sister property Rajska.
Is CENTRALA the same property as Aparthotel Rajska?
No. The same operator actively markets them as separate locations: CENTRALA's twelve apartments at Poljice and Rajska's apartments in the older Jahorina area. Booking, spa, parking and equipment services must be attributed to the correct building. Insist that the confirmation names CENTRALA at Poljice bb.
Can I go straight from CENTRALA onto a ski lift?
The operator places the building at the foot of the Poljice gondola and describes a nearby Poljice lift. That establishes a location-led selling point but not a safe, measured ski-to-door route for each entrance. Snow, ice, slope operations, lift selection and beginner ability change the actual approach; ask for arrival-day instructions and the ski-school meeting point.
Does CENTRALA have its own spa?
That remains unresolved. The shared operator homepage specifically identifies the spa as being at Aparthotel Rajska, while the longer CENTRALA promotional page calls it 'Centrala wellness'. Do not assume sauna, hot tub or treatment access at the Poljice building; obtain written confirmation of the location, eligibility, reservation rules and extra charges.
Are breakfast and restaurant service guaranteed?
The operator advertises Centrala restaurant service and mountain breakfasts, but the public menu contains placeholder prices and an under-construction block. Those pages do not prove up-to-date meal hours or inclusion with an apartment rate. Ask for the actual restaurant calendar, dietary options and breakfast charge for the dates you are buying.
Do all twelve apartments have full kitchens and the same beds?
No single layout is verified for all units. CENTRALA is described as having twelve apartments, while a retained provider listing mentions kitchen or kitchenette and terrace or balcony possibilities. Confirm the named unit's bedroom count, bed configuration, cooking equipment, entry access and maximum lawful occupancy rather than generalising amenities from other units.
Would CENTRALA suit ski lessons that start at Ogorjelica?
Potentially, but Poljice proximity would not solve the journey to Ogorjelica by itself. The resort lists the lift clusters separately. Check the instructor's actual starting point, the ski connection appropriate for your level and a road transfer alternative before choosing the apartment.
